Stations of the Cross 2025

Mater Dei School Stations of the Cross 2025 1
Blog post

On Friday 11 April, our school community came together for a special Liturgy, reflecting on the Stations of the Cross through a short film created by our students. Each class re-enacted one of the 14 Stations, with our Year 12 students performing the final Station live on stage.

From costumes and props to meaningful voiceovers, our students did a wonderful job in bringing the Stations to life — sharing how Jesus may have felt and how we might respond in similar moments.

You can view our Stations of the Cross video below.

We also took the opportunity to say a very heartfelt thank you to three incredible Mater Dei School Taxi Drivers, Karen, Robert and Carola. Each have been wonderful supports to our students and staff for a number of years, helping to ensure the safe and happy transition of our students to and from school.

While Robert and Carola will continue to support our students in a revised capacity, we say thank you and farewell to Karen as she completes her final Taxi run.
